Book Review | Unmarked by Kami Garcia

Being an avid reader it doesnt take a lot for me to become hooked with a series, as long as I like it. With Kami's books although it took me a while to get around to reading, finding time after starting a new job with more hours is more difficult than you think, I have fallen for Kennedy and she is the reason I keep coming back. Good characters, story, cover and description and you have me wanting another sequel all the time.

Review: This starts with Kennedy at a boarding school. After the events that unfolded at the prison and her being left alone she is pining for Jared more and more each day, which is only made worse by all the strange occurrences that have been happening. Even though Kennedy knows she should she can't help herself by trying to keep track of them and find out about a number of girls who have gone missing, who all have some resemblance to her. 

Kennedy and Jared find each other again and so begins the fast paced story into finding and capturing Andras again - the demon Kennedy unintentionally released in the end of the last book. We are introduced to new characters, and family members and are left helpless as we can't do anything about the people Andras possesses and kills. 

I really enjoyed this book and while there were't may ghosts or points that truly scared me like the last book I do really want to read book three. This book definitely tugs on the heart strings a little - if you're attached to the characters - and there's a few shocks in there too.

Comment: While not as good as it's debut, this series is definitely work reading.
