Under Inspection | Loreal True Match Foundation
After spending hours trying to find a shade to suit my skin I finally managed to pick one of these bad boys up. I was starting to think there wasn't a true match for me at all - that would have been amusing!
Product Description (from boots.com): The result for L'Oréal Paris True Match Foundation is a natural looking, skin-true colour without tide-marks and outstanding coverage without caking. L'Oréal Paris True Match Foundation has a micro-fine, creamy texture that contains 3 light, non-greasy oils. You can build up layers of L'Oréal Paris True Match Foundation coverage for a made-to-measure finish. L'Oréal Paris True Match Foundation gives outstanding coverage without caking. L'Oréal Paris True Match Foundation conceals imperfections, without caking : its micro-fine, creamy texture blends perfectly with the skin's texture.
Pro's: Easily applied
Cons: Caking effect after a days worth of wear
My Thoughts: I haven't got a lot to say about this foundation - I've only worn it once. However, my first application wasn't the best experience. This applies flawlessly and it does match to your skin tone, but I even had difficulty with this. I;m still not one hundred percent sure this matches my skin tone either.
This foundation doesn't sit well on my nose - even with primer, and by the end of the day my face was super cakey. I am pretty sure I looked like a toddler applied my foundation as it matches the texture of your skin too - and mine isn't super good!
I'm hopeful this foundation will prove itself in the days to come but for now I'm not sure this is the one for me.
Have you tried this?
Let me know your thoughts.
